Nathalie Verdon Tattoo is based in Bern, Switzerland, run by an artist born in the city in 1969 who has spent most of her life there. She began her apprenticeship as a tattooer in 1992 under Marino Bianchera of the Tattoo Rebels in Zurich, learning the fundamentals of the craft from soldering needles to studio hygiene and hand-drawn placement on the body. To deepen her craft, she traveled extensively to the Pacific Islands, Japan, Mexico, and Borneo, drawing on these journeys to inform her approach. Her philosophy centers on tattooing "as it was meant in the old days" — creating a unique, individual tattoo meant to last a lifetime, rather than working from flash or repeated designs.

Beyond tattooing, the artist behind the studio maintains a parallel fine art practice rooted in three-dimensional folk art, including reliquary sculptures made from textiles inspired by Mexican Nicho Shrines and Swiss monastic techniques. This artwork has been shown in galleries and museums across Europe and the United States, including Halle Saint Pierre in Paris and exhibitions in Geneva, Lausanne, New York, and Bern itself.
