CASTELLO TATTOO

Castello Tattoo is a small studio in Basel's St. Johann neighborhood, working out of a shop in the backyard of the Fuxbau collective. The team specializes in color tattoos and bold lines, while also offering fineline work and larger custom projects, along with cover-ups and blast-overs. Clients can design an individual tattoo based on their own ideas or choose from an extensive flash and wanna-do collection. The studio operates mostly by appointment, with advice offered without commitment, and places strong emphasis on a comfortable, friendly, and welcoming working atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door.

The team of five brings a wide range of specialties together under one roof. Styles on offer span traditional and bold black-and-color work, fine line, grey-scale, large-scale projects, floral designs, and old-school-inspired tattooing, giving clients access to varied approaches within a single studio. Artists have been tattooing since as early as 2007, with backgrounds including graphic design and fine arts studies, and the group continues to develop its craft together, including training newer members. Walk-ins are welcome alongside scheduled appointments.
