Empire Ink

Empire Ink is a tattoo and piercing studio located in Rotterdam's Crooswijk district, working from a 500-square-metre atelier where more than 5,000 tattoos have been completed. The studio operates seven days a week and welcomes walk-ins for both tattoos and piercings, with hygiene treated as a top priority. Weekday hours run from 10:00 to 18:00, and the space is built to accommodate everything from quick walk-in pieces to longer custom sessions.

The team brings together a wide range of specialties, including realism, black and grey, blackwork, fine line, micro realism, old school, chicano, patchwork, urban tattoos, custom lettering, ornamental and traditional work, as well as Māori-influenced realism, pet and animal portraits, and cover-ups. Artists come from backgrounds spanning the Netherlands, Curaçao, Colombia, Venezuela, Suriname and Turkey, each contributing their own style while working from freehand sketching, structured design processes, or fine, precise linework. Piercing services are handled by dedicated, certified piercers who focus on personal attention and proper healing guidance alongside the tattoo work on offer.
