Second Skin Tattoo Studio in Athens was founded in 1997 and was one of the first tattoo studios in Greece to operate with an official government licence. The studio's philosophy centers on hygiene, respect, and uniqueness, and every tattoo is treated as a one-of-a-kind design created specifically for the person receiving it. Work is carried out strictly by appointment, allowing clients to first discuss their ideas directly with the artist before a custom design is developed together. To preserve the individuality of each piece, the studio deliberately avoids publishing its tattoo work online.

Drawing on many years of experience, the team takes on a wide range of custom artwork, including tattoo sleeves, realistic tattoos, Japanese-style tattoos, fine line tattoos, Maori tattoos, old school tattoos, and tattoo cover-ups. Resident artist Stavros specializes in black and grey tattooing, bringing a focused, disciplined approach to detailed custom pieces. Tattooing here is treated as a spiritual process, approached with care and respect for both the client and the craft. Based in Athens, the studio continues to build on decades of hands-on experience in Greek tattoo culture.
