FLAT TATTOO-ARTS

FLAT TATTOO-ARTS is a tattoo studio based in Shizuoka, Japan, led by artist Satoshi Ohata, who was born in Shizuoka City in 1981 and has been tattooing since 2000, having taught himself the craft before opening his first studio, T3-TATTOOS, in 2004. The studio was relocated and renewed in 2009, and in 2019 it was rebranded under its current name. Ohata is a full member of the Japan Tattooist Association and has built an international reputation through regular guest spots abroad, beginning with a residency at BRIKO TATTOO in France in 2008 and continuing with yearly guest work there since.

Ohata's work has been shown at events including the Paris Tattoo Art Fest and multiple editions of the International Lille Tattoo Convention, and it has appeared in publications such as TATTOO TRIBAL and a Spanish-published international tattoo art book. He has also been featured in French exhibitions on tattoo art, on Japanese television and radio programs, and in a Travel TV documentary segment. The studio maintains an active Instagram portfolio showcasing its artwork and interior, reflecting a practice shaped by years of international collaboration and guest artistry alongside its home base in Shizuoka.
