Alcatraz Tattoo Studio has been part of Halle (Saale)'s tattoo scene since 1991, when it was founded by Ringo. Over the decades the studio has built its reputation on treating tattooing as a service centered on the customer, with every design worked out collaboratively between artist and client rather than picked off a shelf. The current artist team spans a wide range of experience levels, from Lisa, tattooing since 2023, and Marina, tattooing since 2020, to Liz, tattooing since 2010, and Rüdiger, tattooing since 2001. Each artist maintains their own portfolio gallery so prospective clients can view previous work and reach out directly. The studio is open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 20:00 and stays connected with clients through regular updates on new designs, available appointments, and studio news.
