Der verrückte Tattoomacher is a family-run studio in Krefeld Uerdingen, where tattoos and piercings are handled as a true team effort, with one partner focused on tattooing and the other on piercing work. The studio's roots go back to 2001, when it began under the name "Schmerzmalerei" in Iserlohn before relocating to Krefeld Uerdingen in 2004, becoming one of the first tattoo studios in the area. In 2017 it was renamed Der verrückte Tattoomacher, the identity it carries today. The tattoo side covers a wide range of styles, including realistic 3D portraits, Maori, Trash Polka, Watercolor, geometric fineline, and comic tattoos, executed in both color and black-and-white.

Piercing is an equal passion at the studio, backed by more than 20 years of experience, making the resident piercer one of the longest-established in the surrounding area. Even unusual and elaborate piercing requests are welcomed, and thorough aftercare follow-up is treated as an essential part of the service, with support available to clients even outside regular opening hours. The studio has also worked with well-known clients, including comedian Tutti Tran. With decades of combined experience and a broad creative range, the studio invites visitors in Krefeld to bring their tattoo and piercing visions to life.
