Cullmann Tattoo & Piercing has been part of Nuernberg's tattoo scene since 2000, when founder Frank Cullmann opened it as one of the city's first studios to combine professional tattooing and piercing under one roof. Frank began tattooing in 1994 and specializes in Celtic, Old School, Maori/Polynesian, Black & Grey, Japanese, and dotwork/mandala designs. Over more than twenty years the studio has built an experienced team of artists working across a broad range of styles, including Traditional, Neotraditional, Realism, Comic, Asia, Fineline, Floral, Script, Color, Trashpolka, Chicano, and Horror, giving clients a wide choice of approaches for custom motifs.

The studio maintains an authentic Old School ambiance and places emphasis on personal, in-person consultation before every appointment, walking clients through design ideas, the tattooing process, and aftercare recommendations. Beyond custom tattoo work, the team also offers cover-ups and tattoo design services. Piercing and body jewelry are handled with the same head-to-toe attention, covering a full range of jewelry options. Located in Nuernberg, the studio welcomes walk-ins to look around and speak with the team, and tattoo appointments and consultations are arranged in person at the studio, while piercing appointments can also be booked by phone.
