Atelier Caluné | Tattoostudio

Atelier Caluné is a tattoo studio in Leipzig's Südvorstadt neighborhood, active since 2019. It specializes in fine, handmade tattoo work with a focus on Fineline, Linework, Microrealism, Lettering, Ornamental, and Geometric styles, alongside cover-ups and scar coverage. Every design is custom-drawn and hand-tailored to the client, worked exclusively in black, white, and red tones. The studio uses exclusively vegan tattoo inks and aftercare products, and also offers only vegan food and drinks to guests, treating that ethic as a core part of its identity rather than a marketing point.

The atmosphere is calm, personal, and unhurried, with each client working directly with the same artist from first inquiry through design and aftercare, including free touch-ups within four weeks of a session. The space is explicitly presented as a safer space, welcoming people regardless of body shape, skin color, origin, age, or identity, with closed-door privacy during sessions and small-wheelchair accessibility. Beyond tattooing, the studio has grown to include mentoring, workshops, and spiritual offerings, alongside social engagement initiatives extending its care beyond the studio doors.
