Kool Tattoo Hamburg

Kool Tattoo Hamburg is located in the historic Kontorhausviertel, a UNESCO World Heritage quarter in Hamburg's Altstadt. Founded in 2017 by Sebastian Winter, the studio has grown into a close-knit team of resident artists working across a wide range of styles. Sebastian's own work moves between Japanese and Western tattooing, with a particular love for large-scale projects built over multiple sessions, while also covering fineline and dotwork. Walk-ins are welcome, and the studio also takes appointments by phone, email, or contact form, offering an initial consultation to discuss ideas before booking.

The rest of the team brings further range: Sina Hainzl specializes in western-traditional motifs with humorous details, drawing inspiration from 80s and 90s imagery and working confidently in both fineline and bold, colorful tattoos. Bizzo focuses on traditional Japanese design after studying tattoo culture in Asia. Flo works primarily in western-traditional tattooing and, since 2015, has also hand-built classical tattoo machines, a rare traditional craft in Germany. Fixed prices are agreed after consultation, and the shop is easily reached by nearby U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations.
