Brazilian Ink Tattoo Estúdio Barra da Tijuca opened its doors on August 5, 2017, as the first location of what has grown into a well-known name on Rio de Janeiro's tattoo scene. Founded by tattoo artist Paulo Nascimento, the studio was built around a more intimate concept that prioritizes humanized, personal attention, turning clients into friends and making the space a gathering point for artists and admirers of the craft. Its team of tattooers brings recognized experience from both the national and international tattoo scene, and the studio offers piercing services alongside tattooing in a decor designed to feel warm and welcoming rather than clinical.

Beyond tattooing and piercing, the studio runs a Tattoo Course for Beginners created by Paulo Nascimento, which has graduated more than 400 students, some of whom have gone on to make a name for themselves in the industry. Classes combine theoretical instruction with hands-on practice, supplying all materials needed in the classroom along with a study guide, and graduates stay connected to instructors through an ongoing WhatsApp group. Located in Barra da Tijuca, the studio has expanded to a second unit while maintaining its reputation as a reference point for tattoo culture in the region.
