Melbourne Tattoo Company sits right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, tucked down the iconic laneway of Somerset Place just off Little Bourke Street. Opened in 2013 by Matt and Zoe Wisdom, the studio occupies a large, bright, open-plan space on the top floor of its building — close to Bourke Street Mall yet private enough to feel tucked away. Ten tattooists currently work out of the studio, giving clients a wide range of artists to choose from within a single, historic loft-like setting.

The team covers a broad mix of styles, including American Traditional, Japanese, Black & Grey, and Fine Line work, with each artist bringing their own approach to the shared space. Appointments and consultations are welcomed, and walk-in tattoos are encouraged whenever the schedule allows, with artists fitting them in between booked sessions. The studio operates Monday to Saturday, with Sundays reserved for appointments only, and enquiries can be made by phone, email, or through an online booking form. Guest artists also pass through regularly, adding fresh design work to the studio's ongoing output in the Melbourne CBD.
