Nous Art Tattoo

Nous Art Tattoo is a tattoo and body art studio based in Izmir, Turkey, working out of the Bornova district. Founded around artist Savaş Yaman and working alongside fellow artist Müfit Savran, the studio describes itself as more of an art studio than a typical tattoo shop, offering a wide range of styles alongside design, graffiti, piercing, permanent makeup, and cover-up work. The team believes a tattoo should reflect the wearer's spirit, aiming for pieces that feel personal and one of a kind rather than repeated designs, and keeps its gallery limited to showcase craftsmanship rather than volume.

Hygiene and safety are treated as a core principle: needles and other tattoo and piercing materials are single-use and sealed in sterile original packaging, autoclave sterilization equipment is used on site, and tattoo inks are imported from Europe and the United States, said to be free of carcinogenic substances with supporting health certification. The studio is a member of Turkey's Association of Tattoo and Piercing Artists (VÜSAD). Beyond tattooing, services extend to tebori, cover-ups, piercing, tattoo removal, airbrush work, graffiti, and permanent makeup, reflecting a broader creative, multi-disciplinary approach to body art in Izmir.
