Mayje Tattoo – Estudio de Tatuajes en Barcelona

Mayje Tattoo is a tattoo studio based in Barcelona's Ciutat Vella district, with more than 15 years of experience and thousands of tattoos completed. Led by artist Michael Salazar alongside a team that includes a resident tattooist, piercer-managers, and a laser operator, the studio focuses on custom, personalized designs rather than catalog work, using a free initial consultation to understand each client's story before creating a bespoke sketch. The team specializes in realistic tattoos, turning photographs, portraits, pets, and landscapes into detailed black-and-grey or full-color body art, while also working across minimalist and intricate styles.

Beyond tattooing, the studio offers professional piercing services using surgical-grade titanium jewelry to minimize allergy and infection risk, plus tattoo removal with PicoWay picosecond laser technology. Every tattoo session follows medical-grade sterilization protocols with single-use, disposable materials, and clients receive a full aftercare kit including healing ointment, pH-neutral soap, and SPF 50 cream. The studio emphasizes an unhurried, judgment-free process, with design revisions offered until clients are fully satisfied before any ink touches the skin. Open seven days a week, the space is presented as a creative, safety-focused environment where personal stories and images are transformed into lasting, individualized works of art.
