PolyRican Tattoo Studio is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, specializing in Polynesian and Maori tattooing. The studio is led by artist Ozzy, who previously worked in New York and was recognized there as the only tattoo artist specializing in Polynesian and Maori styles before relocating his practice to Puerto Rico. Maori tattoo designs, along with the meanings behind them, are among the most representative art forms of that warrior culture, and this heritage informs the studio's approach to custom work.
