Velvet Moon Tattoo Studio

Velvet Moon Tattoo is a tattoo and piercing studio based in Bedford, in the Kempston area, offering a wide range of styles and expertise from its talented artists. The shop is kept immaculate, with each artist working from their own individual station in a clean, safety-focused and sanitary environment. The open floor plan is designed to feel relaxed and welcoming, giving clients space to unwind, chat, and feel at home while their piece comes together. The studio takes pride in creating unique, custom artwork tailored to each client, with a strong emphasis on comfort and care throughout the process.

The artist team includes Julie, an allrounder who came to tattooing through a background in illustration and painting, having worked as an illustrator and painted pub signs before transitioning into tattoo artistry, and now works across a huge variety of styles. Katie, tattooing since 2013 with a background in Art and Fine Art study, specializes in black and grey, fine line, dot work, and watercolour work. Beyond tattooing, the studio's piercing team is experienced in all aspects of body piercing and jewellery, from general ear piercings to needle piercings, offering expert guidance throughout.
