Outsider Art Tattoo Studio

Outsider Art Tattoo Studio is located in Burton upon Trent town centre, at Abbey Arcade, just four miles from Swadlincote and a short walk from Burton On Trent train station. It is an award-winning studio specialising in custom-designed tattoos and body piercing, with four artists between them offering all styles of work, from traditional, neo-traditional and blackwork to nature-inspired and black and grey pieces. All artists and piercers have undergone apprenticeship training and work to the highest of standards, bringing a combined 30 years of professional experience within the industry to every consultation and appointment.

The team prides itself on strong customer relations, aiming to keep every client relaxed and comfortable throughout their visit. Resident artist W.R Art has been tattooing since 2008 and focuses on traditional, neo-traditional and blackwork designs, while Kirsty Crawford, who began her apprenticeship in Burton on Trent in 2008 and became a registered artist in 2010, has a particular passion for nature-inspired tattoos and black and grey work, though she is comfortable across all styles. Beyond tattooing, the studio offers body piercing, consultations, aftercare guidance and a studio tour, serving clients from Burton On Trent, Swadlincote, Derby and Tamworth.
