The Blackhouse Tattoo

The Blackhouse Tattoo is a Brighton tattoo and piercing studio housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building in the heart of the city. The studio brings together a team of resident artists working across a wide range of styles, from fine line to bold colour and blackwork, so that every client can be matched with someone who suits their style, their body, and the design they have in mind. Among the residents are specialists in black and grey illustrative work, traditional and neo-traditional tattooing, whimsical illustrative pieces inspired by nature and vintage imagery, and fineline floral designs, alongside artists known for blackwork and surrealism. The studio also regularly hosts guest artists and flash days, giving visitors access to an ever-changing range of styles and designs.

Piercing is treated with the same care as tattooing here, with thoughtful placement, safe metals, and the choice of a male or female piercer so clients feel fully comfortable throughout their visit. Set in Brighton and Hove, the studio combines its historic setting with a welcoming, professional atmosphere for both first-time visitors and returning clients. Bookings for tattoos and piercings can be arranged directly through the studio, which continues to showcase its artists' work and upcoming events online.
