Northern 92 Tattoo Studio

Northern 92 Tattoo Studio is a modern tattoo shop in Burnley, Lancashire, founded by local artists Elliott Maxwell and Paul Ashcroft, opening its doors in June 2024. The team has since grown to include Aidan Howarth, Megan Rose Hall, and Elliott Spencer, bringing together a range of specialties including realism and portrait work, old school and Japanese tattoos, fine line, geometric designs, blackwork, and cover-ups and reworks of existing tattoos. Paul also runs dedicated patchwork day sessions for traditional-style flash pieces, while the wider team caters to couples tattoos and best friend tattoos for clients wanting matching artwork.

The studio's mission is to make clients' tattooing dreams a reality, with every artist going the extra mile to create a comfortable, enjoyable experience alongside skin art clients are proud to wear for years. Clients benefit from free all-day parking on the quiet, park-side Richard Street just across from the studio, making visits straightforward. The team uses disposable equipment and follows strict sterilisation and hygiene procedures, holding the necessary health authority certifications. Beyond tattooing, the studio shares detailed guidance for clients through its aftercare advice and first-tattoo preparation resources, reflecting its focus on educating and supporting clients throughout their tattoo journey in Burnley.
