Mortz Tattoo

Mortz Tattoo is a tattoo studio located in York, United Kingdom, run by artist Paul Mortz. Paul covers many styles of tattooing and, with decades of experience, works with clients to create custom tattoo designs. The studio's approach centers on personalized, one-on-one design work, giving each client a bespoke piece built around their own ideas.

The studio uses wireless tattoo machines to allow more freedom of movement while working, supporting a smoother and more comfortable tattooing process. All artwork is drawn up digitally, which makes cover-up designs especially easy to simulate before any ink touches the skin, so clients can see what a design might look like on their body ahead of time. This digital-first design process, paired with a broad range of style expertise, reflects a studio built around careful planning and client confidence in the final result. An extensive portfolio of completed work is also on display, showcasing the range and depth of tattoos produced at the studio over the years.
