Agaru Tattoo & Body Piercing has served Wilmington, Delaware since it was established in 2005, earning recognition as a National and International Award-Winning tattoo and body piercing studio. The team specializes in custom tattooing and precision body piercing, with a roster of experienced, well-rounded artists covering numerous tattooing styles, so clients can browse individual artist portfolios to find the right fit for their vision. Since April 2023, the shop has operated from a new location in Lincoln Plaza, having consolidated its former Trolley Square and Maryland locations into this single creative space.
The studio's approach centers on a sterile, safe, and comfortable environment paired with genuine artistry and a comforting bedside manner. Staff are blood-borne pathogen certified and trained in cross-contamination prevention, with all tools either single-use disposable or sterilized on-site using a monitored, regularly spore-tested autoclave. Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins are welcomed whenever possible, and consultations can be booked directly with individual artists. The shop also offers gift certificates in any amount, valid for one year, making it easy to share the experience with friends and family looking for quality body art in a professional setting.
