HD13 custom tattoo

HD13 custom tattoo is a Norwich, UK tattoo studio founded by Hewy, whose journey into tattooing began after years working as an airbrush artist and paint sprayer, including an apprenticeship at Lotus Cars. Hewy trained as a tattooist in the mid-90s, worked in Cambridgeshire, and began tattooing in Norwich in 2003 before eventually opening his own studio, HD13, in November 2014. With well over 25 years of tattooing experience, Hewy describes himself as an old school tattooist trained in street shops, giving him the versatility to work across all styles, shapes, and sizes rather than sticking to one signature look.

The studio now has a team of four loyal artists covering the full range of tattooing styles, offering quality work alongside competitive rates. Beyond tattooing, Hewy has also brought his creative background into the space through 3D printing and resin moulding, producing gold-leafed art pieces blending elements of taxidermy and resin, many of which are displayed throughout the studio. This mix of traditional tattoo craftsmanship and hands-on artistic experimentation gives HD13 custom tattoo its distinct character within the Norwich tattoo scene.
