West Coast Tattoos

West Coast Tattoos is a professional tattoo shop in Blackpool town centre, near North Pier and Blackpool Tower. All tattoos are done by Blan, who has been tattooing professionally for 15 years across Blackpool and Cyprus. The studio is open every day except Sundays, with both walk-ins and appointments welcome. Customers can bring their own designs or work with the studio to create a custom tattoo, and there are also thousands of existing tattoo flash designs to choose from, spanning styles from simple tribal work to detailed black and grey portraits, as well as colour tattoos and Polynesian designs.

Cover-up work is a significant part of the studio's output, catering to amateur tattoos gone wrong, unwanted names, or anyone simply wanting fresh artwork. Hygiene and safety are treated as a top priority: needles are gas sterilised, pre-packed, used only once, and opened in front of each customer, while other equipment is cleaned through an ultrasonic cleaner and autoclave sterilisation. Ink caps are disposed of after every tattoo, and furniture is thoroughly cleaned between clients, keeping the Blackpool studio spotless throughout the day.
