Irezumi Ink

Irezumi Ink is a custom tattoo studio in Blackpool built around individuality and self-expression, offering a full range of body art services from custom tattoos to precision body piercing and professional laser tattoo removal. The team specializes in a wide span of styles, from bold, colourful anime, manga, and Japanese pop-culture-inspired pieces to elegant black and grey realism, portraits, dark art, fine line, and dark gothic realism. Led by owner and lead artist Fransje Taylor, whose colour illustrative, character-driven work draws on Japanese culture and fandom storytelling, the studio also features artists focused on monochrome realism, soft shading, and ornamental detail, alongside an apprentice developing under senior mentorship.

The studio describes itself as a safe, welcoming space for self-expression, with particular care taken to make first-timers, queer clients, and geeky clients feel at home. Artists work closely with each client from consultation through completion, favouring a calm, relaxed approach and meticulous attention to detail whether the goal is a hyper-realistic portrait, a delicate fine line design, or a vivid character piece. As a one-stop shop for tattooing, piercing, and tattoo removal, this Blackpool studio blends technical precision with genuine personal connection for every guest who walks through the door.
