Talisman Tattoo

Talisman Tattoo has offered custom tattooing in the centre of Plymouth since 2019, in a city whose nautical history has long influenced tattooers around the world. The studio prides itself on clean lines and timeless designs, catering to traditional, fineline, black work, dark art, illustrative, realism, black and grey, colour, ornamental and nautical styles. Whether clients want flash straight from the walls or a fully custom piece, the team works to bring each idea to life, offering personalised consultations and multiple design revisions alongside the tattooing itself.

The resident team includes owner Robin Williams, whose strongest influence is traditional tattooing alongside blackwork, dark art and illustrative work, plus Rebecca, who specialises in soft black and grey and full-colour nature-themed designs, Stevie, known for colourful traditional pieces, and Dan, who focuses on bold traditional and ornamental fineline work. An apprentice, Harry, works under the guidance of the senior artists with a focus on nautical themes. All tattooing is carried out with sterile, single-use equipment and thorough aftercare guidance, in a clean, welcoming and professional environment. The studio is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, with walk-ins welcome.
