The Human Canvas Tattoo & Art Studio

The Human Canvas Tattoo & Art Studio is a Belfast-based tattoo and art studio combining custom tattooing with fine art. The studio's team brings together varied artistic backgrounds: Martin McKeown has over 20 years of experience in art-based industries and holds a degree in graphic communication, working comfortably in oils, acrylics, and digital media, which he blends seamlessly into tattoo work in whatever style a client prefers. Nicole McKeown specializes in fine line work as well as Disney and cartoon-styled pieces, no matter the size or intricacy of the design. Martine McKeown is a self-taught, exhibited painter with a background in photography and sales.

Beyond tattooing, the studio doubles as an art space, with Martine's paintings available to browse in person and commissioned artwork available on request for those who want to chat through ideas. The studio maintains an active portfolio and art gallery showcasing the team's range, and clients can also connect through Instagram and Facebook to see ongoing work. With its blend of tattoo artistry and fine art backgrounds, The Human Canvas offers a versatile, welcoming approach for clients in Belfast seeking custom, style-flexible tattoo work.
