Tribe Tattoo

Tribe Tattoo has been serving Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the wider Scotland area since 2000. The Edinburgh studio, located by the university, offers quality tattooing and body piercing in a relaxed and friendly environment, with a dedicated receptionist on hand to help book in the right artist for your project. Artists here each bring their own areas of expertise, covering styles including ornamental, floral, abstract, etching, script, soft black and grey, colour realism, portraiture, Japanese, and tribal designs. Whether the idea is a small hidden symbol or a full body suit of Japanese art, a free consultation can be arranged to discuss ideas before booking, and small walk-ins may be accommodated depending on availability.

Beyond tattooing, the Edinburgh location provides a full body piercing service, from simple ear piercings to dermal anchors, handled by piercer George. The studio also offers laser tattoo removal, including a free test patch for anyone unsure about the process. Uniquely among the two locations, Edinburgh is home to a semi-permanent make-up artist, Laura, who provides treatments such as brow and lip enhancement. The overall aim is to exceed expectations and deliver body art clients are genuinely proud of, backed by a team with a shared passion for all forms of body art.
