Ink Dependent Tattoo Studio

Ink Dependent Tattoo Studio has been established in Edinburgh since 2009, working out of its Dalry Road location. The studio's team brings together decades of combined experience across a range of tattoo styles, with a strong passion for custom, meaningful body art. Artist Marek, one of the studio's founders, has over 20 years in the industry and a signature fondness for owl imagery that runs throughout the shop's décor. Sofia, who began her apprenticeship at the studio in 2017, has built her focus around black and white illustration and realism, while Ruby, tattooing since 2022, specializes in delicate fine-line work inspired by botanical and natural subjects.

The studio offers custom consultations to help clients develop unique designs suited to their personalities, encouraging visitors to book ahead of a visit. Walk-in availability is sometimes offered and is best confirmed through the studio's social media channels beforehand. With a welcoming, community-minded atmosphere, the team prides itself on craftsmanship and a personal approach to every piece. Located in Edinburgh, Scotland, the studio continues to serve local and visiting clients seeking custom tattoo work from a small, dedicated team of artists.
