Black Market Tattoos is a high-quality custom tattoo studio set in the heart of Leicester city centre. The studio brings together a versatile family of artists working permanently in house, alongside resident visiting artists from across the world, covering every style from bold and clean traditional, dot work and blackwork through to portraits, realism, neo-traditional, fine line, graphic abstract and full colour. The shop is welcoming and friendly, with both male and female identifying tattooists on hand, and offers both open plan and separate private rooms for clients who prefer more privacy.

Clients travel from all across the UK to visit, spanning all ages, intersectionalities and diversities, with the team dedicated to putting customers at ease from consultation through to finished tattoo. Co-owners Alex Candela and Del May specialise in neo-traditional and black and grey/colour realism respectively, while the wider roster covers pop culture, anime, vintage traditional and fine line abstract work. Beyond tattooing, the studio is also home to cosmetic tattooing and nail art services, making it a versatile creative space in Leicester.
