Forty Two Tattoo

Forty Two Tattoo is a private tattoo studio in the city centre of Sheffield, located at Stag Works on John Street, close to Bramall Lane football stadium and a twenty-minute walk from Sheffield Train Station. The studio operates as a group of independent artists able to accommodate a wide range of tattoo requests, from fine detail to large-scale pieces. The team places strong emphasis on providing a safe, clean space alongside dedicated customer service, aiming to match professionalism with quality artwork throughout every stage of the process.

The resident artists cover a broad spread of styles, including neo-traditional, neo-realism, black & grey and full-colour work, alongside blackwork, dotwork, stipple, mandala and ornamental designs. Others in the studio specialise in geometric tattooing that blends light and heavy blackwork, dark and gothic ornamental pieces inspired by fantasy, horror and gothic architecture, and colourful neo-traditional tattoos featuring animals and floral motifs. Several artists have been tattooing for years and bring convention recognition to the studio.
