Origin Tattoo London opened its doors in 2019 on a cobbled street just a short walk from London Bridge station. The studio was founded by Nichlas Hald and Matt Stopps, two friends who had both worked as tattoo artists in London since 2012 and set out to challenge the traditional London tattoo studio model. Their shared vision paired high-quality tattooing with a high-end environment, exceptional service, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere free from intimidation, resulting in a space built around an open lounge area and friendly staff who welcome every customer and visitor.

The studio's team of experienced artists covers a wide range of tattoo styles, including fine line, traditional black and grey, realism, colour traditional, and geometric work, with each artist bringing a distinct style and refined technique. Any design idea or concept is welcomed, and a free in-house consultation is offered to discuss tattoo ideas before booking. Clients consistently describe the atmosphere as relaxed, welcoming, and easy to feel at ease in from start to finish, whether getting a first tattoo or returning for another piece.
