Green Man Tattoo Studio has served West Hartford, Connecticut, since 1995, making it the city's original tattoo studio for three decades. Founded by Ken Adams, it has become a cornerstone of the local tattoo community, known for a diverse range of artistic styles and a reputation built on professionalism and creativity. Over the years the studio has maintained a loyal clientele while continuing to attract new customers seeking high-quality tattoos in a welcoming, hygienic environment. The shop also offers post-mastectomy areola pigmentation as a specialty service.
The studio operates with a clean, sterile environment following local health regulations, using single-use needles, disposable gloves, and properly sterilized equipment for every client, along with strict cross-contamination prevention protocols. Clients receive clear explanations of procedures, risks, and aftercare, along with honest consultations free of pressure toward any particular design. Minors are only tattooed with valid parental consent and proof of age, and service is refused to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Pricing is based on design complexity and time, with no hidden fees or upselling. Custom design work is available, with artists guiding clients through references, revisions, sizing, and placement to create a piece they'll be proud of for years to come.
