Monster's Ink

Monster's Ink has been part of the tattoo scene in Medicine Hat, Alberta since it was opened in 2007 by owner artists Monty and Leslie Ricken. The studio maintains a safe, clean, and professional environment that goes above and beyond minimum health-board requirements, and every artist on staff is certified in bloodborne pathogens and sterilization. Using state-of-the-art equipment, products, and procedures, clients typically experience less pain and faster-than-average healing times, reflecting a genuine commitment to both comfort and results.

Prospective clients are encouraged to browse individual artist portfolios to find the right fit for their vision, with each artist maintaining a dedicated body of work that showcases their style. Booking is straightforward: clients are asked to have a clear idea of the design they want, often supported by reference images, and appointments can be arranged by phone or in person. The studio also provides detailed aftercare guidance to support healing, along with a touch-up policy for clients returning after their tattoo has fully healed. This attentive, detail-oriented approach has helped establish Monster's Ink as a recognized, award-winning shop in the local community.
