Addictive Ink Airdrie

Addictive Ink Tattoos has been serving Airdrie since it was opened in August 2010 by owner and tattoo artist Colin Ditchfield. What began as a 1,500-square-foot studio expanded in 2016 to take over the full upper level of its building, growing into a 5,000-square-foot space. Colin has been tattooing for 17 years and specializes in all styles, with particular strength in black and grey horror, realism, portraits and large-scale pieces. He works alongside his wife Cass Ditchfield, his first graduated apprentice and a tattoo artist of 16 years, who focuses on realism and portrait work of people and animals, also taking on large pieces. Cass has won multiple awards at the Calgary Tattoo and Arts Festival, and the studio has been recognized as a multiple award-winning shop.

The Airdrie studio operates strictly by appointment, with complimentary consultations offered so clients can meet directly with their chosen artist before booking. Prospective clients are encouraged to review artist portfolios and Instagram pages beforehand, and bookings are made by phone or in person only. Deposits and a drawing fee secure each appointment, and the studio offers free touch-ups within one year for tattoos that didn't heal properly. Open Tuesday through Saturday, Addictive Ink welcomes walk-in inquiries about consultations while maintaining a structured, appointment-driven approach to ensure dedicated time with each artist.
