Lakeside Ink

Lakeside Ink is a private tattoo studio in downtown Barrie, Canada, founded by Lisa Marshall and her son Jesse. What began as a home-based studio in 2018 grew through word-of-mouth into a dedicated commercial location, opening its doors in October 2021. The studio operates as an independent art gallery as much as a tattoo shop, built around a bright, colorful, spa-like atmosphere rather than traditional tattoo-shop décor, aiming to make clients feel relaxed and pampered rather than nervous during their sessions.

The team includes multiple artists—Jesse, Madelyn, Ella, Sammy, Pili, and Ricardo—bringing a range of styles and artistic backgrounds together under one roof. Beyond tattooing, the studio embraces a broader creative mission: Lisa Marshall, a tattoo artist and fluid art specialist, also teaches abstract fluid art classes, reinforcing the space's identity as a hub for artistic expression in the community. Since expanding into its Barrie storefront, the studio has grown steadily, adding talented artists who share a commitment to artistry, luxury, and exceptional client experiences, making it a well-known creative destination in the city.
