Tattoo Lab

Tattoo Lab is a custom tattoo and piercing studio in Halifax with 14+ years of experience behind its artists. The team works across fine-line, realism, colour, black-and-grey, Japanese-inspired and illustrative styles, guiding clients from initial consultation through aftercare. Services range from delicate, minimalist fine-line pieces to detailed realism, portraits, cover-ups and reworks, alongside larger custom projects built around placement, scale and composition. The studio also offers professional ear, facial and body piercing, with guidance on jewelry selection, placement and healing.

The shop follows Nova Scotia body-art requirements, using single-use sterile needles, professional disinfection procedures and documented aftercare guidance. Design work is collaborative, with artists helping refine concept, placement and style before a session, and a clear pricing pathway covering hourly rates, minimums, deposits and consultations. Led by artist Vivek Divine, who specializes in colour realism and black-and-grey work, the studio is described as clean, bright and welcoming. Clients share their ideas through an inquiry form, are matched with the right artist, confirm bookings with a deposit, and receive written aftercare support throughout healing.
