Narrows Tattoo is a professional tattoo studio serving the University Place community with skilled, dedicated artistry in a welcoming atmosphere. Clients can expect clean, focused work from artists who take their craft seriously, whether that means bold traditional pieces, intricate blackwork, or the delicate precision of fine line tattooing. The studio carries the kind of grounded, no-nonsense energy that makes first-timers feel at ease and seasoned collectors feel right at home.
University Place sits just southwest of Tacoma along the Puget Sound, shaped by the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest — dense evergreen forests, mountain views, and a community with deep working-class roots. That regional character tends to attract clients who appreciate honest craftsmanship over flash and trend. The proximity to Joint Base Lewis-McChord also brings a steady stream of military clientele who value quality and durability in their ink. Getting tattooed at Narrows Tattoo feels like a genuinely local experience rooted in the spirit of this corner of Washington.
