Killjoy Tattoo is a custom tattoo studio in Tallmadge, Ohio, built around the idea that education matters as much as artistry. The shop's philosophy centers on educating clients and the wider community, working to dispel outdated myths about tattoo shops while helping people feel comfortable and confident in the process. The goal is to create a space where clients can relax and grow alongside the studio as part of a community, rather than simply walking in for a one-off tattoo. The shop is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, from noon to 7pm, and does not tattoo minors under any circumstances, even with parental consent.
The studio's team includes resident artists Andrew Kraus, Boo Tomahawk, and Nathan Evans, each maintaining an active portfolio and Instagram presence showcasing their individual work. Prospective clients can browse examples of finished tattoos through the studio's dedicated work gallery before booking. Killjoy Tattoo emphasizes direct communication, offering phone and email contact for inquiries and consultations. With its focus on client comfort, ongoing education, and building lasting relationships within the Tallmadge community, the studio positions itself as more than just a place to get inked.
