Alchemy Tattoo Exchange is a husband-and-wife owned tattoo studio located in Riverview, Michigan, run by artists Steve and Amanda Panik. Steve trained at CCS and Wayne State, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts before completing a traditional tattooing apprenticeship, and he works across a wide range of styles, from bright new school work to smooth, detailed black and grey realism. Amanda began as a hobbyist before apprenticing directly under Steve, building her skills in color theory, composition, lighting, and form before growing her own following in the Downriver area. The studio opened its doors on March 6th, 2023, in Riverview Plaza, the couple's hometown, after months of renovating their space.
The shop emphasizes a unique, professional, and friendly experience for every client, whether it's someone's first tattoo or their hundredth. Clients work one-on-one with an artist to design a custom piece tailored specifically to them, with staff guiding the process from initial consultation through the tattooing procedure and aftercare.
