Modern Age Tattoos has been a fixture in Nanuet, New York's Rockland County since opening its doors in 1998. The shop carries an old school street shop feel within a clean, modern environment, offering four tattoo artists and thousands of designs ranging from old school to new school and everything in between. Clients can browse the extensive wall galleries and display racks for inspiration, or bring in their own concept for a fully custom, freehand design. All artists work confidently in both color and black and gray tattooing, and walk-ins are welcome alongside scheduled appointments.
Beyond tattooing, the studio offers body piercing and a wide selection of body jewelry. Hygiene and safety are taken seriously, with a state-of-the-art hospital sterilization autoclave, new needles for every client, and staff certified in blood-borne pathogens and first aid. Over the years, the shop has built a large and loyal clientele through word of mouth, earning a strong reputation with the local Board of Health and the surrounding community. Whether a client wants a piece pulled straight from the wall or a completely original custom design, the team's adaptable, personal approach keeps the focus on individual artistry and craftsmanship.
