The Harbor Tattoo Studio brings a bright, clean, and modern approach to tattooing in downtown Mound, Minnesota, just steps from Lake Minnetonka. Owner Dane Vocelka opened the shop after 10 years in the tattoo industry, building a team known for being personable and professional. Services include custom tattoo design, cover-ups and touch-ups, and first-time tattoos, with most clients returning as regulars. The studio also offers custom-designed clothing, gift cards, and even custom fishing rods, making it an unusual stop that goes beyond typical tattoo parlor offerings.
The artist team includes Justin Dale, who began tattooing in 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida after serving in the United States Navy, and who specializes in American traditional and neo-traditional styles. Chris Hensley joined the team more recently, bringing his own distinct portfolio of work. An apprentice, Justin "G Crack" Groves, is also developing his skills under the shop's supervision. Set in a popular summertime area of Mound, the studio's welcoming, laid-back atmosphere and repeat clientele reflect its focus on quality craftsmanship and genuine connection with every customer who sits in the chair.
