Tattoo Betty's is a family-owned and operated tattoo studio in Jackson, California, run by Ken and Betty Gish alongside artists Matthew and Elizabeth Gish. The shop traces its roots to a first location opened in Factoryville, Pennsylvania in 2004, before the family relocated to Amador County, Jackson, California in 2011. Every artist on staff is also certified in body piercing, offering a wide range of ear, face, and body piercings, along with gauging and stretching services and a selection of jewelry and merchandise.
The studio offers a variety of pre-drawn flash alongside fully custom artwork, with artists able to work across a range of tattooing styles and bring their own individual approach to each piece. They also specialize in reworking old tattoos, offering re-coloring, add-ons, and cover-ups for pieces that no longer fit a client's taste. The space is designed to keep clients relaxed and comfortable while they browse designs or wait for appointments, with free Wi-Fi and seating for guests who bring a friend along. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday through Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays available by appointment.
