Exotic Eye Tattoo

Exotic Eye Tattoo is located on the Homer Spit in Homer, Alaska, operating seasonally from May to September before its artists relocate to a second location in Costa Rica for the winter. Both appointments and walk-ins are welcomed, and the studio's approach treats each tattoo as a collaboration between artist, client, and place, blending artistry, ritual, and intuition into every piece. The shop offers art prints, merchandise, and gift cards alongside its tattoo work, and clients can book sessions directly through the studio.

Lead artist RachelG began her tattoo journey studying Polynesian Tribal work on the Big Island of Hawai'i and in New Zealand, absorbing traditions of pattern, placement, and sacred meaning. She combines that foundation with a background in realism and a touch of playful kitsch, and her specialties span Pin-Up, Black and Grey, Pointillism, Sacred Geometry, and Indian and Asian-inspired art. She works alongside a circle of visiting artists, creating designs known for flowing seamlessly with the body and carrying meaning beyond the skin, from bold statement pieces to fine-line detail.
