Origin Tattoo is a tattoo and art gallery located in Folsom, California, open seven days a week from noon to 7pm. The studio centers its work on the relationship between artist and client, describing tattooing as an intimate, honest exchange built on trust, collaboration, and genuine human connection rather than exclusivity. Their approach emphasizes custom, meaningful pieces that translate a client's ideas, inspirations, and personal stories into lasting visual art, with the studio framing every session as a shared creative and emotional experience rather than a simple transaction.
The Folsom studio operates on an appointment basis, though walk-ins are welcomed when scheduling allows. Its interior is intentionally curated, with incense, distinctive decor, and views of a natural backyard setting meant to foster comfort and creative flow throughout the day. The team includes several resident tattoo artists, each maintaining individual portfolios and Instagram profiles for prospective clients to review before booking. Origin frames its work as more than decoration, positioning each tattoo as a collaborative act of self-expression and a lasting mark of connection between artist and client, reflecting a deep commitment to craftsmanship and the human experience behind every piece.
