Dragonhide Tattoo Co. is Leif Olson's private tattoo studio in the heart of Carrboro, North Carolina. Leif is an award-winning tattoo artist and illustrator whose work emphasizes dynamic character concepts, heavy color saturation, and painstaking attention to detail, with inspiration drawn from all things historical and mythological. His illustrative body art favors vivid color and intricate line work, and he collaborates closely with each client to build custom tattoos that reflect their individual passions and stories.
Beyond bold, color-driven illustrative pieces, Leif excels at bio-organica designs as well as cover-up and repair work, giving clients options for reworking existing tattoos alongside brand-new custom pieces. All of his artwork is created by hand from the ground up, without digital shortcuts or AI assistance, reflecting a dedication to traditional, human-made design. As the sole artist behind Dragonhide Tattoo Co., Leif offers a personalized, private-studio experience for those seeking richly detailed, character-driven tattoo work in Carrboro.
