Sleevin' Steven's Custom Tattoos is a custom tattoo studio in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, operating as a focused, one-on-one, appointment-only space. The artist behind the studio spent nearly 15 years tattooing in Madison, Wisconsin before starting this solo venture in December 2023, aiming to create in a distraction-free environment. The studio does not offer piercings and does not tattoo minors, keeping its focus purely on custom tattoo artistry delivered in a relaxing, private setting.
Work here spans both black and gray and color tattooing, with a specialty in dynamic pieces built on bold contrast paired with soft, airy light. Subject matter ranges from florals and cherished portraits to darker imagery, always aiming for texture and layered depth rather than flat designs. Armbands and coverups are not an area of focus, despite experience handling armband coverups in the past. Appointments are booked by sharing a design idea along with size and placement preferences, and the studio operates Monday through Friday mornings, with texts, calls, and a deposit required to secure a booking.
