- Strict sanitation and sterilization protocols must be followed at all times.
- All reusable equipment must be autoclave sterilized, and single-use needles are mandatory.
- Clients must be given written aftercare instructions and sign a consent form.
Age Restrictions
- Turkey has no enacted national law banning tattooing of minors — a bill that would criminalize it is still pending in parliament as of 2026. Current practice is industry self-regulation; many artists voluntarily decline to tattoo minors or require a guardian present.
