Event Description

Now in its fourth year, Ancient Arts Festival returns to Pittsboro, North Carolina for a three-day celebration that blends tattooing with the theatrical and the strange. Expect live work from local and visiting artists, tattoo competitions, a masquerade costume contest, oddity and macabre vendors, live painting by Jordan Jones, and performances from PaperHand Puppet Intervention and sideshow performer Jax Silvertree. This is the rare convention where the spectacle extends well beyond the tattooing itself — and that's exactly what keeps people coming back.
