Dublin Tattoo Shops
Booking a Tattoo in Dublin: What You Should Know
Studios in Dublin range from tourist-friendly walk-in shops to highly sought appointment-only artists with long waiting lists. Most reputable shops require a deposit for custom bookings — this protects the artist's time and is standard practice globally. If you are visiting Dublin and want to get tattooed, research artists 4–8 weeks before your trip, book your slot early, and confirm the studio's deposit and cancellation terms. Bring reference images to any consultation, and check that the shop provides written aftercare instructions you can take with you.
