Who Owns the Photos on Tattooed.co?
All portfolio photos and tattoo images on Tattooed.co are the property of the individual tattoo artists who uploaded them. Tattooed.co does not own these images. We display them under a limited license granted by each artist to showcase their work on our platform.
Personal Inspiration Use Is Welcome
Tattooed.co is built for inspiration. You are welcome to save, screenshot, and share artist photos for personal use — including saving them to your boards on Tattooed.co, downloading them for reference, or showing them to a tattoo artist to communicate what style or concept you are looking for. That is exactly what the platform is for.
When sharing artist photos on social media or with others, crediting the artist by name is appreciated and encouraged, though not required for personal use.
What Is Not Permitted
While personal inspiration use is welcome, the following uses are not permitted without the artist's explicit written permission:
- Commercial use — using artist photos in advertising, marketing materials, products, or any commercial context
- Republishing as your own content — posting artist photos to a website, blog, or social account in a way that presents them as your own work or content
- Misrepresentation — claiming or implying that an artist's tattoo work is your own design or creation
- Bulk or automated downloading — scraping or mass-downloading photos from the platform through any automated means
Requesting Commercial Permission
If you want to use an artist's photo commercially — in a publication, campaign, or any paid context — contact the artist directly through their profile on Tattooed.co. Tattooed.co is not a party to any licensing agreement between you and the artist and cannot grant commercial permission on the artist's behalf.

If you are a tattoo artist and believe your photos have been used commercially without your permission, please contact us at [email protected]. If you believe content on Tattooed.co infringes your copyright, contact us with a description of the claimed infringement and we will respond promptly.
Tattooed.co's Use of Artist Photos
By uploading photos to Tattooed.co, artists grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display their content on the platform and in related promotional contexts (such as social media posts that showcase the platform). We do not sell or sublicense artist photos to third parties. We do not use artist-uploaded photos to train AI models.
